I've never been really big on video games. I haven't played very many video games, but I do admit that the video games I did play were a lot of fun. However, after playing them, I never felt that they added any value to my life. What I never understood was how anyone could keep plugging coins into those machines durning lunch hour when you could stand and watch the cool graphics for free while other people play (and pay).

Fr Flannery under Vatican investigation:
Founder of the Association of Catholic Priests (ACP) Fr Tony Flannery is under Vatican investigation for some of his liberal views, The Irish Catholic has learned.
It comes just two weeks after the report of the Apostolic Visitation noted what it described as “fairly widespread” dissent among priests, religious and laypeople from the teaching of the Church.

Lisa Graas posted something a couple days ago that I almost commented on, but I was too embarrassed to express publicly how I really feel. After a couple days of thought, I've decided that I'm confident enough in my masculinity to express these feelings (or maybe my inhibitions are down because I can't sleep and it's past midnight). Lisa said "that [she] want[s] a Cardinal Dolan teddy bear that [she] can hug every time he does something awesome." Well, I feel the same way about the Archbishop of Toronto, Thomas Cardinal Collins.
Lisa Graas posted something on her blog that got me to thinking: There is a lot of evil in this world that is hiding behind seemingly good terms. I'm going to look at these terms and the definition given for them by the dictionary on my iMac.
Socialism: "a political and economic theory of social organization that advocates that the means of production, distribution, and exchange should be owned or regulated by the community as a whole."
